Okay, how many of you have cordless phones? Yes, I see that hand, and that one....another one over there. Wow! It looks like we all have cordless phones....Yeah! Now how many of you know exactly where they are? If you're like me--YOU DON'T KNOW! Nearly every day, when my husband walks in the door, one of the first things he notices is that fact that none of the 3 cordless phones we own are sitting on the chargers. He goes around the house, rounding them up, so that they won't go dead and be useless. Yesterday, that didn't happen. Right now, none of the 3 phones we own are sitting on their chargers. How do I know that, well the phone just rang. I was working on a new post and jumped up from where I was working to get the phone. Yes, we have an answering machine, but there's just something in me that says, "ANSWER THAT PHONE!" I just can't let it ring! I'm way too curious about WHO is on the other end. (no, we don't have caller id) The room I was in, had an empty charger, I raced down the hallway to charger number 2 - NO PHONE! Forget about charger number 3, there's no time. I hear the phone but don't see it! It's on ring number four. (There's something magical about ring number four-the answering machine picks up and most people hang up!) I just can't let that happen. I might never know who called me! I panick...but wait, there it is...on the coffee table. I take a flying leap across piles of legos, racetracks, cars, etc... Oh no! My leap just isn't as high as it used to be...gravity is taking a strong hold of me...I trip over an empty lego box...land in a partial, but painful split on the living room floor and triumphantly hold the phone to my ear. Hello................
I think it's time to plug in a good old-fashioned corded phone.

HAHAHA! I have two cordless phones, both of which are on chargers, because they both die after exactly 10 minutes after being OFF their chargers. Now the cell phone? That's another story entirely.
LOL...yes, we have a cordless and daily use the button on the charger to sound off the alarm so we can find it. :)
