A bus cake was baked and decorated to celebrate Samuel's first day of school on Wednesday, August 20! So....after church, we all gathered around Samuel and sang "Happy School Day to You"! He wanted us to sing to him! :) He loved going to school and was VERY happy to go back on Friday!
Simon asked me if I had a present for Samuel. I had forgotten all about getting a gift for him. (I had gave a gift to Seth & Simon years ago on their first day.) Simon reminded me about the crane I had put back in my closet for Samuel. I pulled it out and he was VERY happy to get it! He asked me, "Mommy, did you get this at Once Upon A Child?" He never forgets where he sees a toy that he wants! :)
