Monday, the woman made chili for supper. She decided to pack some chili in her man's lunchbox. Tuesday morning, she pulled out the foil-covered bowl and tucked it safely inside the blue & white lunchbox. She added some other goodies and handed it to her man.
At lunchtime, the woman decided to heat up some broccoli. She lifted the foil off the bowl, and to her great surprise, discovered chili!
"Oh, no," she thought to herself. "I've given my man the broccoli instead of the chili."
She quickly called her man at work, explaining that he had a big bowl of broccoli instead of chili. The man was understanding and said he would just go out to eat. The woman was sad that her man would have to spend money to eat out. She was also sad that she couldn't eat the bowl of broccoli.
That night the woman had a brilliant idea. Why not pack the chili in the lunchbox the night before. Then, all she would have to do is pull the lunchbox out of the fridge and give it to her man in the morning.
She was so proud of herself the following morning as she pulled out the lunchbox and gave it to her man.
"No eating out today." she thought to herself. "I've finally got the lunch packed right!"
Around noon, the man pulls the bowl put of his lunchbox. He lifts off the foil and gazes at blue icing! He turns to a co-worker and says, "I just don't have the heart to tell her."
He calls his woman and asks if she's missing a bowl of icing. The woman goes to the fridge, lifts the foil off the bowl of icing and finds chili! She cannot believe it. She is very upset with herself. Once again, the man has to go out to eat. He, of course, is delighted with the fact that he gets to eat out 2 days in a row!
On Wednesday, the woman carefully puts the chili filled foil-covered bowl in the blue & white lunchbox. She has double and triple-checked the contents and is sure she packed the right food.
The man finally gets to enjoy a bowl of chili for his lunch.
The moral of the story is this.........
Don't store broccoli, blue icing, & chili in the fridge in identical foil-covered white bowls!
